To our friends and family who live in London, it will come as no surprise that we’re choosing to have our wedding celebration there. 

However, we recognize that for many, we’re asking for you to plan travel, so please allow us to give you a little pitch for spending a few days in London with us.

Despite Olivia’s simmering suspicion of the English* (could it be her Irish heritage?) — London is a centrally located, artistic, culturally intriguing city, with people and excitements from all over the world. It might blow your socks off with its variety of scotch eggs, effective public transport, and theatrical productions. Also, the cakes are excellent.

We promise to bring the best of it to you with a weekend of fun events. We will primarily be in East London (our second home), but feel free to consider this an opportunity to stay wherever you like or spend your time reenacting your favorite scenes from Notting Hill, Paddington 2, or A Clockwork Orange.
